Be part of the NZSG Sustainability Working Group

Posted Thursday October 27, 2022

The recently formed NZSG Sustainability Working Group is seeking members interested in contributing to the objectives of the group. As the specialty with the third highest emissions burden, it is imperative that we focus on reducing our carbon and waste footprint.

Our focus for the near future will be on surveying members about their knowledge and attitudes towards sustainability within gastroenterology, developing a short and long term activity/objectives plan and fostering relationships with other national and international societies' sustainability groups.

The group currently meets approximately every two months via Zoom, with the next hui aiming to occur in mid-December. Please email Rhys John at rhysalanjohn@gmail.com, or Ricardo Jurawan at ricardo.jurawan@tdhb.org.nz if you wish to be included.
