We welcomed four candidates, including three physicians and a surgeon, from various locations to the course held on March 28 and 29. The first day was held at Olympus Live in Albany followed by day two at Totara Haumaru in North Shore Hospital's Endoscopy Unit.

Our esteemed faculty members were Dr. Kyle Hendry, Nurse Endoscopist Nicola Griffiths, Dr. Lesley-Anne Smith, and Dr. Russell Walmsley.

The feedback received was highly satisfactory, as all candidates confirmed achieving their educational goals. Quotes from participants included:

Well-run course by passionate and knowledgeable teachers.

Excellent course. A wonderful participatory learning environment.

Excellent tutors. Very valuable content. Excellent teaching methods.

Our next course is on September 12 and 13. If you have not applied previously, please submit an application to be considered for this course which holds a maximum of 6 placements per course.

The NZSG Executive would like to thank Dr Walmsley and the faculty for their time and sharing their expertise and knowledge with attendees. We look forward to continuing to provide valuable educational experiences for all participants made possible, in part, by sponsorship from Olympus - thank you.
