1. Jia Min Yap – University of Otago
Project: Malnutrition in Advanced Liver Disease
This study aims to improve nutritional strategies for patients with severe liver conditions, addressing a critical gap in clinical care.
2. Jay Gong – University of Auckland, School of Pharmacy
Project: Patterns of Opioid Use Among Inflammatory Bowel Patients After Hospitalisation
The research explores opioid prescribing trends and their impact on recovery, aiming to inform safer pain management practices.
3. Cameron Kendall – Christchurch
Project: FIT Testing for Gastrointestinal Symptoms: Two Years of Clinical Experience in Canterbury

4. Amelia Grace Roy – University of Otago
Project: Investigating Rongoā Mamaku as an Anti-inflammatory Resolution in Crohn’s Disease Models
