The RACP 2024 New Fellow Survey (NFS) results were recently released
Key results from the 2024 New Fellow Survey include:
The majority (89 per cent) of respondents indicated that they felt prepared overall for unsupervised practice.
Over 80 per cent of respondents reported that they felt prepared for Communication, Medical expertise, Judgement and decision making, and Ethics and professional behaviour.
Between 80-50 per cent percent of respondents indicated that they felt prepared for Teaching and learning, Leadership, management and teamwork, Quality and safety, and Cultural safety.
Less than 50 per cent of respondents indicated they felt prepared for Health policy, systems and advocacy, and Research.
