IBD Symposium
It was our pleasure to host the 16th NZSG IBD symposium in sunny Hamilton on the weekend of 25-26th August. 92 delegates enjoyed an excellent programme covering wide range of topics.
We were treated to outstanding contributions from our overseas speakers, A/Prof Emily Wright, A/Prof Peter de Cruz and Prof Charlie Lees, alongside our local talented speakers, and were able to discuss the multi-disciplinary nature of IBD management with local surgeons, DrJasen Ly and Dr Nick Smith, and dietician Dr Catherine Wall from Christchurch.
Friday nights social event proved to be a success in the delightful surrounds of the Wintec atrium, with excellent hospitality, before one or two hardy souls went on to brave the Hamilton night-life.
Finally, the Novotel hotel proved to be an excellent venue, and we would like to once again thank our partners Pharmaco and Conference Innovators for helping to put together such a seamless meeting.
