Congratulations Associate Professor Susan Parry
Dr Parry was honoured with a lifetime honorary membership to The International Society for Gastrointestinal Hereditary Tumours (InSiGHT) a multidisciplinary scientific organisation, whose mission is to improve the care of patients and families worldwide with any hereditary condition resulting in gastrointestinal tumours.
InSight members nominated Susan for her dedication, efforts and contributions to the international community in the field of Inherited Cancers over many years. In acknowledging the award Susan stated:
To be made an honorary lifetime member is something I never envisaged and to be honest it was a privilege - I am thankful to those who nominated and elected me twice! However, importantly it has created contacts and connections that have benefited our service and, more importantly, our patients. There is no doubt now re international awareness of the NZFGCS and I have great confidence that it will continue
Congratulations on your achievement and dedication Dr Parry
