Get ready for our Membership Platform in 2025

With changes to the Incorporated Society Act 2022 making it mandatory to hold accurate contact details for every member and our desire to gather demographic information which will assist in discussions on workforce needs the Executive have invested in a Membership Platform.

After an extensive discovery process, we decided to create a platform with our web vendor, Firebrand. This decision allowed us to reduce ongoing licensing fees while providing a bespoke experience which can be upgraded when we require.

We are also pleased to share Firebrand's Website Security Compliance for Standard Silverstripe Sites which includes our Members Portal and Website with you which is attached below.

At launch once a member updates their personal data they will be able to:

• ​​Sign up for NZSG promoted events ​

• ​View, pay and set up payment options for membership etc. ​

• Manage personal details NZSG holds ​

• Find documents in a secure environment based on role (i.e. Exec, Working Group Member) ​

When we launch you will receive an email asking you to update your personal data and create login password.
