Dr James Irwin

James has been a member of the Executive since 2020. A member of the NZSG Equity Working Group James has assisted in the creation of the NZSG Equity Statement and Equity Focus on Selection of Candidates for Gastroenterology Training in New Zealand document. James will continue to advocate for equity as he continues as member of the working group. James is also the Chair of the National Endoscopy Data Standards Group focusing on creating standards for better data collection on the national Provation platform.

Dr Simone Bayer

Simone has been a member of the Executive holding the Office Bearer role of Treasurer since 2020. Her keen eye and focus on investment have seen the Society increase its reserves to a healthy level over her five-year tenure.
