Survey for clinicians who care for people with bowel cancer and/or IBD
Kia ora,
We invite clinicians who care for people with bowel cancer and/or IBD to participate in a national clinician survey exploring perspectives on the health information provided to patients with bowel cancer and/or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) before and after bowel surgery.
This study aims to understand current perioperative information practices, identify perceived gaps, and explore regional or equity-related differences across Aotearoa New Zealand. As perioperative pathways vary by disease type and severity, your input is essential to ensure findings accurately reflect surgical practice.
Insights from this survey will inform future patient education resources, nutrition interventions, and surgical research priorities relevant to colorectal care in New Zealand.

The survey takes approximately 30–45 minutes to complete, can be paused and resumed at any time, and participation is voluntary and anonymous.
Thank you for considering participation and for your contribution to improving care for people with bowel cancer and/or IBD in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Ngā mihi / Kind regards
