Changes to RACP Gastroenterology Advanced Training Programme
RACP has made changes to Gastroenterology Advanced Training Programme
The Executive met with Dr Stephen Ding, Chair of the RACP NZ Advanced Training Subcommittee for Gastroenterology, to discuss changes to the Gastroenterology Advanced Training Programme.
The changes scheduled to the RACP advanced training curriculum are planned for the coming years. Trainees who commence Gastroenterology training in 2024 will follow a new curriculum provided by the RACP. This divides training into 3 distinct phases termed Specialty Foundation, Specialty Consolidation, and Transition to Fellowship.
We have included the overview of the new program below.
